Senator Rector says, “Bill 175 would raise water and power rates, sell off the control of our utilities to foreign corporations, and ensure that all management positions go to foreigners instead of having a career ladder for our people.” Earlier this week, Senators passed an amendment to Bill 175 proposed by Senator Rector which took away the control of PMCs (Performance Management Contracts) to operate GWA and GPA. This saves our workers from being replaced by foreign temporary workers and gives our workers the opportunity for growth within the company. Our legislature has another week of session then will begin voting on Friday, November 13. Keep up with your democracy and tune in to Ch. 13 or watch live streaming. Watch video on amendment |
