Port Negotiations Campaign
Our workers at the Port have been going through an obstacle course to get a contract that will ensure fair treatment and good working conditions. The Port's management team have not been negotiating in good faith which has made negotiations a challenge.
GFT set up letter campaigns in efforts of getting the Port to start negotiating in Good faith. Members and their families responded by sending the letters. Our brothers and sisters at the Australian Dock Workers Union supported Guam’s Port workers and our efforts in getting them a contract as well.
Negotiations is currently at a halt, but the GFT has sent several letters to the management to resume negotiations.
